Hey recently I went and golfed at Hunters Creek.
It was a group of eight of us, and we had a great time. I’m admit that some of the course was a little rough.
Which brings me to the point of this conversation. Well… I call it a conversation you don’t get to respond. LOL (hear me out.) But I’m gonna imagine that you can and would respond. Imagine you were running a golf course, right? You want to make it affordable, but you also want it to be nice for your guests. That was the topic a couple of holes out there.
So, my buddies and I speculated that if we owned the golf course and we were trying to drive up the number of golfers that visited, intuitively we would probably lower our prices. Wouldn’t you?
The problem with that however is that if you lower your greens fees, you get more golfers, but you also get more traffic. This can result in the degradation of your course.
When we went to this course the other day we noticed that the greens tended to be a little rough in the putting areas became a hazard because of the sand.
Now, this was after some big rains that we had. However, we really wondered if it was necessary to have all that sand there.
I’ll admit to you that I don’t know the first thing about running a golf course, but if I had to compare Falcons Fire with Hunters Creek, I definitely suggest you go to Falcons Fire. If you’re on a budget, then go to hunters Creek. I just can’t imagine any golf course would want to be known as the low-budget course
I think I would want to be known as the affordable golf course that is absolutely stunning. However, maybe that doesn’t exist. Take it for what it’s worth. This is my review. I hope it helped.
By the way, when we were first starting out at hunters Creek, the guy that helped us with the golf cart told us that the beer girl would be around at some point. So, we waited. We thought that she would come around before the ninth hole.
But, she never did. So, we anticipated that she would come around on the back nine. Bad news… She never came around at that time either.
So, if you’re looking to go out and have a couple of beers with your buddies… Make sure to bring your own if you go to this course.
Or, it’s a good way to invite your AA friends to join you for hey round of golf.
I don’t want my review to sound too bad, so I want you to know I still rate it a 7 on a scale of 1-10. You shouldn’t hesitate playing there. Just note the things I said.
